Pupil Voice Reports

The Pupil Voice Survey instantly generates 3 types of report for schools. Each report shows the % of pupils that either strongly agreed or agreed with each statement. Results are grouped vertically by order of total % into upper (green), middle (amber) and lower (red) brackets. The additional information that is displayed in each report is detailed below.

Whole School (Generic)

  • Results included: Pupils' views about whole school topics, looking at their perceptions of the school as well as individual reflection on generic areas of school life. Includes the results from the 'My School' and 'Me' sections.
  • Format: Totals across all pupils and individual demographic groups. The demographic groups are shaded based on their variance from the Total results for all pupils. If the group is 5% or more above the Total = Green, less than 5% above or below the Total = Amber and 5% or more below the Total = Red. The All Schools (national average) results are shaded using the same criteria but show how the Total varies from the national average.

Whole School (Subject Areas)

  • Results included: Pupils' views about whole school topics but across individual subject areas. English, Maths and Science are set as default and schools can also include additional subjects. Includes the results from the 'My Subjects' section.
  • Format: Totals across all pupils and individual subject areas. The subject areas are shaded based on their variance from the All subjects results for all pupils. If the subject area is 5 or more above All subjects = Green, less than 5 above or below All subjects = Amber and 5 or more below All subjects = Red.

Whole School (Subject Specific)

  • Results included: Pupils' views about whole school topics but across individual subject areas. English, Maths and Science are set as default, with additional subjects on top of this optional for each school. Includes the results from the 'My Subjects' section.
  • Format: This report looks at the results across demographic groups for an individual subject area (as selected), compared to the Whole School (Subject Areas) report which provides headline results across all subject areas, rather than specific demographic groups. The demographic groups are shaded based on their variance from the Total results for all pupils. If the group is 5 or more above the Total = Green, less than 5 above or below the Total = Amber and 5 or more below the Total = Red. The All Schools (national average) results are shaded using the same criteria but show how the Total varies from the national average.
