The pupil insight software 'Me and My' is owned by Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport (LRS), the County Sports Partnership (CSP) for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. Please click here for details of who LRS are.
The software provides the education sector, including primary and secondary schools, with a series of online survey tools and reporting mechanisms to help capture and interpret pupils' views. It supports schools with developing a concise self-evaluation, understanding sporting preferences and exploring other areas of school life. Compatible with school information management systems, demographic pupil data is uploaded by a staff member before any survey is completed. This reduces the time pupils spend completing the surveys and, uniquely, allows for the results to be instantly cross referenced against the demographic data. Staff can then analyse the pupils' responses and view automatically generated reports.
The software has been developed over a number of years by LRS, working with various partners across education, sport and health, including The County Sports Partnership Network (CSPN).
CSPs across England are being established as franchisees for the software to support schools in completing the surveys, interpret the messages from the results and understand the sport and health opportunities available for your pupils. Please visit the Your Local Network page for details of the CSP in your area and a point of contact.
Please take a look around this section for details of the history of the product, the processes that we have in place to ensure all data and consent is appropriately managed and examples of best practice in utilising the pupil insight that the software can provide.
